Les Sept Pierres
About the Winery
Les Sept Pierres is the project of François Tissot, an oenologist who spent 15 years making wine for other estates before creating his own. In 2012, he settled in Ardèche and fell in love with a property hidden among pine trees in the commune of Rosières at over 200 meters altitude, which he named Mas Heritage. The vineyard spreads over about 10 acres on more than thirty terraces. Tissot also started a négociant activity to showcase all seven Ardèche appellations: Côtes du Vivarais, Côtes du Rhône, Coteaux de l'Ardèche, St Péray, St Joseph, Cornas, and Condrieu. His motto is FINESSE and ELEGANCE. The estate practices organic viticulture and produces wines from Syrah, Grenache, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Viognier, and Riesling (planted as a tribute to his Alsatian grandmother).
“An oenologist's project bringing together the seven Ardèche appellations from an organic estate on terraced vineyards at Mas Heritage.”
