About the Winery

Calmel & Joseph is a 'micro-négoce' founded in 1995 by Laurent Calmel, an oenologist, and Jérôme Joseph, specializing in Languedoc-Roussillon wines. They work with private wineries across the region, building close personal relationships with growers from all appellations. The duo launched their own label in 2007. They select parcels, vinify, and age wines with the common purpose of demonstrating the little-known yet unique quality of these Mediterranean terroirs. Their wines span the full range of Languedoc-Roussillon appellations, from fresh whites to powerful reds, always with a focus on terroir expression.
