About the Winery
Vignoble Dampt Frères is a renowned family winery in the AOC Chablis region of northern Burgundy. The Dampt family has been growing wine in Chablis for generations, with brothers Eric, Emmanuel, and Hervé each managing their own estate while also collaborating as a family. Their father Bernard Dampt was a vigneron in Collan from 1980 to 1998, following three generations before him. The estate produces classic Chablis wines from Chardonnay, including Petit Chablis, Chablis, and Chablis 1er Cru. Their wines are fermented and aged exclusively in stainless steel tanks, emphasizing the characteristic freshness and minerality of Kimmeridgian limestone soils. The family is known for their deep understanding of the Chablis terroir and their commitment to traditional winemaking.
“A family Chablis estate where brothers Eric, Emmanuel, and Hervé Dampt craft mineral-driven white wines from Kimmeridgian soils.”
