About the Winery

Situated in the heart of Anjou at Beaulieu-sur-Layon, Château du Breuil is a historic 30-hectare estate fully managed under organic agriculture since 2015. The property was acquired in 2006 by Michel Petitbois, with David Vigan, a former Michelin-starred sommelier, serving as Managing Partner. The estate's vineyards are planted on schist soils in the Coteaux du Layon appellation, with additional holdings in Savennières across the Loire river. The domaine produces a range of wines including dry and sweet Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Franc reds, Crémant de Loire, and wines from the rare Grolleau grape variety. The château offers five guest rooms for wine tourism stays and can host seminars for up to 20 people.
