Villa Exindrio

Route de Mireval, Château d'Exindre, 34750 Villeneuve-lès-Maguelone, France

About the Winery

Villa Exindrio is a wine estate with a rich historical legacy dating back over 2,000 years. Originally a Gallo-Roman farm, it later became an Episcopal property of the Bishops of Maguelone. The remains of the Sainte-Marie-Madeleine d'Exindre chapel were found on the site. Acquired during the French Revolution by the Sicard family, who owned it until 2021, it was then purchased by Clément and Mathilde Veyrac. From the 19th-century cellar and 37 hectares of vines come IGP wines, Languedoc AOC wines, and Muscat-de-Mireval. The estate is situated between the Gardiole massif and the lagoons of the Estagnol nature reserve, benefiting from an exceptional terroir between sea and garrigue. The estate also offers vacation rentals (gîtes).

A historic estate dating back over 2,000 years to Gallo-Roman times, producing Languedoc AOC and Muscat-de-Mireval wines on 37 hectares.
