Domaine des Aspras
About the Winery
Domaine des Aspras extends over 25-33 hectares in Correns, known as France's first 100% organic village. The name derives from Latin 'asper-aspera' meaning 'rocky,' referring to the white limestone hills surrounding the property. Founded in 1961 by the Latz family, Michaël Latz was one of the first to convert entirely to organic agriculture in 1996. Today, he is supported by his three sons Sébastien, Alexandre, and Raphaël. The estate produces AOC Côtes de Provence wines across three colors, with flagship cuvées including A Lisa, Les Trois Frères, and Licorne. The signature Les Trois Frères is a tribute to the three sons. The farming is certified organic, using horses, sheep, and natural composts.
“A 3rd-generation family estate in Correns, France's first 100% organic village, producing Côtes de Provence wines since 1961.”
