About the Winery
Romain Jambon is a Beaujolais winemaker who, despite coming from a winegrowing family, chose to create his own domaine rather than take over an existing one. In 2010, at the age of 24, he took over 7 hectares of Brouilly and today cultivates 10 hectares. He focuses on producing parcel-specific cuvées vinified largely with whole bunches. The estate is located in the heart of the Brouilly appellation, producing wines from Gamay on the granite soils typical of the region. His wines express the purity of the Brouilly terroir with elegant, fruit-forward character.
“A young winemaker who created his own 10-hectare Brouilly estate in 2010 at age 24, focusing on whole-bunch vinification.”
