About the Winery

Sébastien and Anne-Sophie Boever took over the family estate in 2004, which was created after World War II by Gaston Boever, Sébastien's grandfather, who launched the Dames de France brand in 1968. Sébastien, an oenologist, handles the winemaking alongside his father Pierre. The estate owns 5 hectares of vineyards located in the sought-after Grand Cru villages of Louvois, Aÿ, and Bouzy on the Montagne de Reims. Two-thirds of their production is exported. Their champagne 'Dames de France' is crafted from old vines averaging 50 years, from the prestigious Bouzy Grand Cru, with a blend of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay. The estate practices sustainable viticulture and produces champagnes known for their power, structure, and elegance.
