About the Winery
Domaine Pierre Martin is located in Chavignol, at the heart of the Sancerre appellation in the Loire Valley. After working for fifteen years with his father, Pierre Martin succeeded him in 2012, supported by his wife Lauriane, who is an oenologist. The estate's 17 hectares, currently in organic conversion, are situated around the village of Chavignol, famous for its goat cheese as well as its wines. The domaine produces Sancerre wines, including whites from Sauvignon Blanc and reds from Pinot Noir, reflecting the classic flint and limestone terroir of the region.
“A Sancerre estate where Pierre Martin took over from his father in 2012, supported by his oenologist wife Lauriane, with 17 hectares in organic conversion.”
