Jean-marie Renvoisé
About the Winery
Jean-Marie Renvoisé took over the family farm in 2002, on which 1 hectare of vines remained. While keeping his activity of raising suckler cows, he decided to replant the 5 hectares previously dedicated to cereals to devote himself entirely to viticulture. He is primarily a producer of Jasnières wine, a rare and precious white wine appellation in the Loire Valley made from Chenin Blanc. He also produces red and white Coteaux du Loir. The estate is open by appointment, closed from August 15th to 30th and during the grape harvest. Jasnières is one of the most sought-after appellations in the Loire, known for its complex, mineral, and long-aging white wines.
“A Jasnières specialist who took over the family farm in 2002 and converted cereal land to vineyards in the Coteaux du Loir.”
