About the Winery
The story begins in 1925, when Arnaldo Dimani's grandparents left their native Italy with a suitcase to settle in the Lot, where they acquired a farm with a small 7-hectare vineyard in 1980. Today, it is a full-fledged wine estate, extending over nearly 20 hectares in the Cahors appellation. The estate produces wines from 100% Malbec (Côt), the historic grape variety of Cahors, including their cuvées Bout du Lieu, Orbe Noir, and the premium Empyrée aged 24 months in French oak barrels.
“Family estate of nearly 20 hectares in Cahors, producing 100% Malbec wines from old vines on the terraces of the Lot River.”
