About the Winery
Sophie and Patrick Ligeron had the opportunity to take over the lease of 5 hectares of vines in 2015 and produced their first vintage in 2016. Expanded since, the estate now has 11 hectares spread across the villages of Château-Chalon, Ménétru-le-Vignoble, and Domblans. The domaine practices organic viticulture and produces Jura wines including their signature cuvée 'La Vouivre', a blend of 70% Chardonnay and 30% Savagnin aged in used Burgundy barrels. Three of their 11 hectares are located in the prestigious Château-Chalon appellation.
“Founded in 2015 by Patrick and Sophie Ligeron, now with 11 hectares including 3 in the prestigious Château-Chalon appellation.”
