About the Winery
In 1920, Alexandre Marnier-Lapostolle, founder of Grand-Marnier liqueur, acquired the Château de Sancerre, as well as the Tour des Fiefs which dominates the town. These two buildings remain the symbol of the domain and illustrate the labels of this property, whose vineyard covers 56 hectares. The estate produces Sancerre wines from Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir, maintaining a long tradition of quality.
