About the Winery
Hervé Lacoque is the heir to four generations of winegrowers established in Villié-Morgon. He started working on the estate at age 17, beginning with 4 hectares in sharecropping, adding 2 hectares in lease, before fully taking over his father Noël's estate in 2000. After acquiring additional parcels, his property now covers more than 10 hectares. The estate, known as Domaine de Javernière, includes vineyards across the famous Morgon climats including Micouds, Charmes, Corcelette, and the renowned Côte du Py, made up of decomposed shale that gives Morgon wines their distinctive power and aging potential.
“Fourth-generation winegrower in Villié-Morgon with over 10 hectares across prestigious climats including Côte du Py.”
