Domaine Daulny
Sancerre, Loire Valley, France
About the Winery
Étienne Daulny took over in 1972 the head of this regular-quality domain that has been passed down from father to son for several generations and today exports 85% of its production. The estate owns 15 hectares of vines divided into about 50 different plots within the Sancerre wine region. The wines are known for their classic expression of Sauvignon Blanc: grassy notes, tropical fruit, and hints of blackcurrant bud, with a crisp, fresh palate and beautiful minerality.
“A regular-quality Sancerre estate passed down through generations, with 15 hectares across 50 different plots, exporting 85% of production.”
