About the Winery
Pascal Balland is one of the last links in a long chain of winegrowers with many branches, rooted in Bué since the mid-17th century. He has been running this 9.5-hectare estate since 1984. The estate produces classic Sancerre wines: lemony, dry, mineral, aromatic, and lively. The fermentation is done in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks after pneumatic pressing, and the wine is aged on fine lees. His wines pair beautifully with fish, shellfish, and goat cheese.
“Winegrower rooted in Bué since the mid-17th century, running 9.5 hectares of Sancerre vines since 1984.”
