About the Winery
Didier Poitevin is a Beaujolais vigneron based in Saint-Amour. In 1990, when he took over this estate, the vineyard covered 6 hectares. Today, his domain extends to 10 hectares across different terroirs of Beaujolais and the Mâconnais. The estate produces wines from several appellations including Saint-Amour, Saint-Véran, Juliénas, Mâcon-Vinzelles, Pouilly-Fuissé, and Beaujolais-Villages. Poitevin uses integrated, eco-friendly viticultural techniques, including planting sodded bands in suitable vineyards and increasingly caring for the soil mechanically. His wines are characterized by their fruity, charming style typical of the Gamay grape.
