Domaine de Valdition
About the Winery
The Domaine de Valdition spans 240 hectares in the heart of Provence, between Orgon and Eygalières near Saint-Rémy de Provence. It was given by François I to his natural daughter Caroline du Prévôt during the Renaissance. The family she founded with Dacla de Chateaubert preserved the domain for four centuries. Today, the estate covers 90 hectares of vineyards producing Coteaux d'Aix en Provence PDO and Alpilles PGI wines (white, Rose and red), and 30 hectares of olive orchards producing AOP Vallée des Baux de Provence olive oil. The estate is certified organic and also produces a Brut Nature sparkling Chardonnay. Its olive oil was awarded 99/100 by Flos Olei, one of the best in the world.
“A 240-hectare historic estate in Provence with 90 hectares of vineyards, producing organic wines and world-class olive oil.”
