About the Winery

In the village of Saint-Amour Bellevue, the two pairs Jean-Paul and Bernadette Spay, and Rachel and Christophe Hamet have merged their names and energies to develop their Domaine Hamet-Spay. Christophe, a true epicurean, writes a blog with tempting pairing suggestions. The estate produces wines in the Saint-Amour appellation and participates in local events including the Rochefort-en-Beaujolais market. The village of Saint-Amour Bellevue lies at the southern tip of Burgundy, in the heart of the Beaujolais crus, on soils that yield generous and harmonious wines.
