About the Winery

The Lafont family has been established at the Pomples hamlet since 1877. After studying electronics and then viticulture-enology, Matthieu Lafont took over from his grandfather Jean Brissy in 2009. His grandfather, a doctor and independent winemaker, had expanded the vineyard to 27 hectares. Matthieu has infused the estate with new energy, converting to organic farming, creating a tasting room, organizing art exhibitions, and offering picnics in the vineyards.
