About the Winery

Created in 1955, the domaine has been passed down from father to son for three generations. Since 1999, Laurent Dufour has led this property of 7.5 hectares (now approximately 8 hectares) located in the commune of Massignieu-de-Rives, at the gateway to the two Savoie regions and at the extreme south of the Bugey. The Caveau produces red and white Bugey wines including Bugey Brut, Bugey Chardonnay, Roussette du Bugey, Bugey Gamay, Bugey Pinot Noir, Bugey Mondeuse, and Bugey Rose. Laurent also bakes bread over a wood fire on Saturdays using wheat from the estate.
