About the Winery
This old property, which belonged to the Abbey of Foncaude until the French Revolution, still holds bottles dating from 1856. Situated on a promontory overlooking the Orb valley, it has belonged since 1996 to Éric and Isabelle Perret. They cultivate 25 hectares of vines, grown organically since 1972. The estate produces Saint-Chinian AOC wines from Syrah, Mourvèdre, Grenache, Carignan and Cinsault on clay-limestone soils. The vineyards are located between 100 and 150 meters above sea level, surrounded by garrigue wilderness. The average vine age is 30-35 years.
“An historic estate overlooking the Orb valley, cultivating 25 hectares organically since 1972.”
