About the Winery

Albert Schoech is a historic Alsace wine merchant house founded in 1840 by Joseph Schoech, son of a cooper, and has remained in the same family ever since. The house has 17th-century cellars and century-old foudres alongside modern winemaking equipment. Their portfolio includes five Grand Cru vineyards: Kaefferkopf, Florimont, Sommerberg, Mambourg, and Winneck-Schlossberg. The brand perpetuates the memory of Albert Schoech, who was mayor of Ammerschwihr and founding member of the Saint-Étienne brotherhood after 1945, while making the business prosper. The house is known for its predominantly dry style wines with excellent concentration. The estate has been in organic farming since the 2014 vintage.

A family wine merchant house since 1840 with five Grand Cru vineyards and organic certification since 2014.
