About the Winery
Les Demoiselles de Pallus is an estate established in 2013 by sisters Hélène and Claire Demars, who come from a family of winemakers established in Aÿ (Champagne) since 1584 and in Chinon since 1952. Located in Cravant-les-Coteaux on 9.5 hectares, the estate is part of the prestigious Chinon appellation. The sisters focus on producing wines from Cabernet Franc grown on the appellation's hillside terroirs, with a commitment to organic viticulture. Domaine de Pallus, the larger estate from which their venture derives, has 12 of the 70 hectares considered as grand cru in the appellation.
“Two sisters from a historic winemaking family crafting Chinon wines from 9.5 hectares in Cravant-les-Coteaux.”
