About the Winery
Domaine de la Belière is a Bugey estate run by siblings Céline and Gaël Ronger. Céline has been managing the estate alone since 2003 and was joined by her brother Gaël in 2016. The estate covers 7.85 hectares spread across Saint-Martin-du-Mont, Bohas-Meyriat-Rignat, Ceyzériat, and Briord, at the foot of the Jura Mountains. The estate's signature wine is Cerdon du Bugey, a naturally sparkling Rose made using the ancestral method from Gamay and Poulsard. They also produce still wines from Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Altesse. The estate practices sustainable viticulture with HVE certification and has been in conversion to organic farming since 2022.
“A brother-and-sister team producing Cerdon du Bugey and other wines from the foot of the Jura Mountains.”
