About the Winery
Olivier Bardet started his winegrowing journey in 2007 by taking over a 2.5-hectare estate, which has since grown to 5 hectares. Located around the village of Mérignat in the Bugey region, the vineyard is dedicated exclusively to the production of Cerdon Méthode Ancestrale, a naturally sparkling Rose wine made from Gamay Noir and Poulsard grapes. The ancestral method produces a low-alcohol (around 8%) wine with a beautiful pink color, fine bubbles, and strong aromatic expression of red fruits. This traditional wine pairs wonderfully with desserts and as an aperitif.
“A 5-hectare estate dedicated exclusively to Cerdon Méthode Ancestrale in the Bugey region.”
