About the Winery
Gérard Bertrand is a major figure in Languedoc-Roussillon wine, an important producer with approximately 850 hectares spread across seventeen estates, all cultivated using biodynamic practices. A former rugby player and son of a vigneron, Bertrand is both a significant landowner and a négociant in the south of France. His wines appear in the Guide under various appellations including Corbières, Fitou, Minervois, Languedoc, and Côtes-du-Roussillon, as well as IGP wines. His portfolio includes prestigious properties like Château l'Hospitalet, acquired in 2002, which spans 1,000 hectares of vineyards and shrubland.
