About the Winery

Domaine René Ours is located in Valréas in the southern Rhône Valley. René Ours settled on the family estate in 1994 and left the cooperative cellar in 2008 to vinify his own wines. He manages his vineyard according to 'the spirit of organic' principles, though without official certification. The estate produces wines in the Côtes du Rhône Villages Valréas appellation, crafting red wines from Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre, as well as white wines from Viognier, Roussanne, and Marsanne.
