About the Winery
After working for twenty years at the family domaine, Régis Jouan created his own estate in 2010 in Sury-en-Vaux, one of the 13 communes of the Sancerre appellation. The estate covered 4.5 hectares of vines on clay-limestone soils dating to the Upper Jurassic period. In 2017, the property was taken over by David Girard, who continues the tradition of producing elegant, terroir-driven Sancerre wines. The Sancerre appellation is internationally renowned for its refined Sauvignon Blanc wines.
“A family estate in Sury-en-Vaux producing elegant Sancerre wines from clay-limestone soils.”
