Scea la Fruitière (Famille Lieubeau)
About the Winery
The Lieubeau family has been producing wines in the Muscadet region since 1816, making them one of the oldest winegrowing families in the Nantes vineyard area. Pierre and Chantal Lieubeau have directed the estate since 1980, and their children François, Vincent, and Marie have joined them to manage the 75-hectare vineyard, now farmed organically. The estate is planted on the granite soils of Château-Thébaud, one of the most prestigious Crus of Muscadet. They produce Muscadet Sèvre-et-Maine, Crus Château-Thébaud, Clisson, and Goulaine, as well as organic Loire wines. The family is committed to sustainable viticulture and the wines are acclaimed by critics worldwide.
