Sas château Peyrabon
About the Winery
Château Peyrabon is a historic Bordeaux estate dating back to 1766, mentioned on the Belleyme map. The property was acquired in 1998 by Patrick Bernard, CEO of Millésima, who invested heavily in the vineyards and cellars. The estate spans approximately 50 hectares: 41 hectares in Haut-Médoc (Peyrabon) and 7 hectares in Pauillac (Fleur Peyrabon). The vineyard is planted with 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Petit Verdot on sand, gravel, clay, and limestone soils. The wines are aged in 33% new French oak barrels for an average of 14 months. In September 2022, the property was purchased by Philippe and Frederic Casteja of Borie-Manoux.
“A historic Bordeaux estate from 1766 with vineyards in both Haut-Médoc and Pauillac.”
