About the Winery
Earl Fresnau is a historic domaine created in 1925 and recognized as a reliable producer in the Sarthe wine region. François Fresnau acquired his first Jasnières parcel in 1975 and, after a successful career, passed the torch to the fourth generation: his children Xavier and Amandine, who now manage 16 hectares producing wines in the Coteaux-du-Loir and Jasnières appellations. Jasnières is one of the most northerly appellations in the Loire Valley, producing dry white wines from Chenin Blanc on calcareous-clay hillsides.
“A reliable Loire Valley domaine since 1925, now in its fourth generation, producing Jasnières and Coteaux-du-Loir wines.”
