About the Winery
The Artigue family has been winemakers for four generations, managing two notable properties in Bordeaux: Château La Guillaumette, a beautiful 30-hectare vineyard in the Entre-deux-Mers producing Bordeaux Supérieur, and Château Galeteau (formerly Château des Laudes), a small 3.7-hectare Saint-Émilion vineyard on clay-limestone soils. The family has dedicated itself to organic viticulture, with both properties managed by Bernard Artigue and his sons Antoine and Alexandre. Their winemaking tradition dates back to September 8, 1895, when their great-grandfather first vinified grapes in the region.
“Four generations of organic winemaking in Bordeaux, from Entre-deux-Mers to Saint-Émilion.”
