About the Winery

Brilliantly perched atop a hill of ancient boulders within the Faugères appellation in the Languedoc, Château de la Liquière is run by siblings Véronique and Pierre Vidal with their mother Geneviève. With 50 hectares of vines on schist soils and roots plunging 10-15 meters deep, the estate has been in the family since the 1700s. They produce highly praised Faugères wines that showcase the unique schist terroir of the region. The estate is certified organic.
