About the Winery

A winding road leads to the highest point of the La Clape massif, the Coffre de Pech-Redon, which gives its name to the estate, located in the heart of the natural park. Christophe Bousquet has managed the 30 hectares of vines using organic agriculture since 1988. The estate is the highest in La Clape at 160-180 meters altitude, with vineyards on clay-limestone and stony soils. The estate was the first in the appellation to work organically (since 2005). Christophe cultivates Syrah, Mourvèdre, Grenache, Carignan, and white varieties including Bourboulenc, Grenache Blanc, Marsanne, Roussanne, and Clairette. The wines are aged in large oak foudres.

The highest estate in La Clape (160-180m), with 30 hectares farmed organically since 2005, the first in the appellation.
