Château de Vaugaudry

About the Winery

Built on a terrace ledge on the hillside, on the left bank of the Vienne, this château faces the fortress of Chinon. The continuous 12-hectare vineyard entered the current owners' family in 1949. The property features a wall that completely surrounds it, creating a unique microclimate. The estate produces red, Rose, and white Chinon wines, with the white wines being certified organic. The château also offers three gîtes (holiday cottages) on the property for wine tourism stays.
