About the Winery

Established on the slopes of Saint-Julien, west of Villefranche-sur-Saône, Daniel Bouchacourd took over in 1991 the estate created by his parents in 1960. He operates 13.5 hectares in Beaujolais-Villages (red and white) and Brouilly, with many parcels of very old vines. The estate is known for producing wines with excellent aging potential and expressive fruit character. The family works with traditional Beaujolais grape varieties, primarily Gamay for red wines.
