Domaine sophie Cinier
Fuissé, Burgundy, France
About the Winery
In 2000, Sophie Cinier took over the small family property of 2.3 hectares. She initially sold her grapes to local négociants before vinifying for the first time in 2005. She works alone, from the vineyard to marketing. Not owning Saint-Véran parcels directly, she created a négociant structure to buy grapes and vinify them. The estate produces wines from the Mâconnais region of Burgundy, focusing on Chardonnay-based wines that reflect the unique terroir of the region.
“A one-woman operation in the Mâconnais, Sophie Cinier took over 2.3 hectares in 2000 and began vinifying in 2005.”
