About the Winery
The Gaec de Laplace is a family-run estate spanning approximately 100 hectares on the northern slopes of the Pays de Duras in the Lot-et-Garonne department of South West France. The domaine cultivates traditional grape varieties of the Duras appellation on clay-limestone and gravelly soils, producing wines that reflect the unique terroir of this lesser-known but increasingly recognized wine region. The estate is committed to sustainable viticulture, crafting wines from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon Blanc, and Sémillon.
