Laurent Miquel
About the Winery
The Laurent Miquel name represents a family's deep connection to the Languedoc, spanning eight generations and more than two centuries. Laurent and Neasa Miquel's estates encompass 200 hectares across two distinct properties: Château Cazal Viel, acquired in 1791 and now entirely dedicated to organic agriculture, and Château Auzines, purchased in 2009. Their wines span the Corbières and Pays d'Oc appellations, crafted with a passion for innovation while respecting the traditions of Languedoc winemaking. The estates are certified HVE (High Environmental Value) Level 3 and practice organic viticulture, producing wines of exceptional quality from Syrah, Grenache, Carignan, and other Mediterranean varieties.
“An eighth-generation family of 200 hectares across two estates in the Languedoc, practicing organic agriculture and HVE Level 3.”
