About the Winery

André Chatonnet, from a family rooted in Saint-Émilion since the 17th century, established himself in 1967 at Château Haut-Chaigneau, where he built a temple of wine in neo-classical style. His son Pascal, an oenologist and biologist, continues his work. The estate cultivates 31 hectares of vines, primarily in Lalande-de-Pomerol and Saint-Émilion appellations. The wines are crafted with a focus on Merlot and Cabernet Franc, producing elegant expressions of the right bank terroir with smooth tannins and complex aromatics. Pascal Chatonnet brings both scientific expertise and traditional winemaking knowledge to create wines of exceptional quality.

A family estate since 1967 with 31 hectares in Lalande-de-Pomerol and Saint-Émilion, now led by Pascal Chatonnet.
