Château Labégorce

About the Winery

Château Labégorce is a beautiful neo-classical edifice rising in the middle of its vineyard at the exit of Margaux in the direction of Pauillac. Since its acquisition by the Perrodo family in 1989, the estate has benefited from significant investments. The 2009 merger with Château Labégorce Zédé allowed it to recover its original 70-hectare vineyard, that of before the division of 1794. Nathalie Perrodo-Samani took command of the family properties in 2006 after the death of her father Hubert. The vineyard covers 70 hectares with plantings of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Petit Verdot. The wines are aged for 12-14 months with 40-50% new oak, producing a brilliantly fruity wine with great finesse that brings people together.
