Caveau Quinard
About the Winery
Caveau Quinard is a family-run winery located on the high banks of the Rhône Valley in Massignieu-de-Rives, in the Savoie region. The estate has been farmed by the Quinard family for four generations since 1840, spanning nearly 200 years. Julien Quinard has directed the 14-hectare domaine since 2007 and made the commitment to organic farming in 2009, converting the entire vineyard to organic methods. No synthetic products such as herbicides, insecticides, or chemical fertilizers are used; the vines are treated only with minerals and plants to produce the healthiest grapes possible. The estate produces Bugey wines including whites (Chardonnay, Roussette), reds (Gamay, Pinot Noir, Mondeuse), and sparkling wines made in the traditional and ancestral methods.
“A four-generation family estate since 1840, producing certified organic wines from 14 hectares in the Bugey region.”
