About the Winery

Vignobles Bodillard is a family-owned estate in the heart of Beaujolais, established in 1986 on the family domaine. André Bodillard works alongside his son Renaud to cultivate vineyards that have grown to encompass 12 hectares, spanning both Beaujolais and the southern Mâconnais. The estate produces a diverse range of wines including four Beaujolais crus and Saint-Véran. The vineyards are situated on granitic and schist soils ideal for Gamay, with vines ranging from 20 to 100 years old. The Bodillard family practices organic and biodynamic farming, with harvest done exclusively by hand. In the winery, grapes undergo whole grape carbonic maceration in concrete vats or oak barrels, with spontaneous fermentation using native yeasts. The family proudly participates in every step from vine to bottle to guarantee the quality of their wines.

A family estate in Beaujolais since 1986, crafting organic and biodynamic wines from 12 hectares including four crus.
