About the Winery

The Espiot family, already vineyard owners in the Blaye region, took over this former estate known as Château Ladoar in 2004. Located near the prestigious châteaux Smith Haut Lafitte and Bouscaut in the Pessac-Léognan area of Bordeaux, the property spans 8.7 hectares. Since 2007, Sébastien Espiot has led the domaine after returning from a decade working in a multinational corporation. The estate produces Bordeaux wines from classic grape varieties including Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, reflecting the gravelly terroir of the Graves region. The wines are crafted with a focus on expressing the unique character of this exceptional terroir near some of Bordeaux's most celebrated classified growths.
