Michaël Barthès
About the Winery
A winemaking history and family adventure began with great-grandfather André Rochet, who expanded his property by purchasing the Domaine du Bosc in 1960 (32 hectares today). The father of the current owner planted noble grape varieties, which were then cultivated by his mother. Michaël Barthès arrived in 1998 and took over the estate in 2009 with his wife Christelle. The couple focuses on direct sales, crafting wines from classic Languedoc varieties including Syrah, Grenache, Carignan, and Mourvèdre. Their wines reflect the warm Mediterranean climate and the family's commitment to quality viticulture.
“A family estate of 32 hectares in Languedoc, passed down through four generations, with Michaël and Christelle Barthès at the helm since 2009.”
