Domaine antoine Viland
Létra, Beaujolais, France
About the Winery
Antoine Viland, established in Létra in the heart of the Pierres Dorées (Golden Stones) country, cultivates approximately 20 hectares. He now sells the majority of his production in bottles. This winemaker, who established his domain in 2007, is an adept of long macerations with whole bunches, a traditional Beaujolais technique that produces wines with greater structure, complexity, and aging potential. His approach results in Gamay wines that go beyond the typical light and fruity Beaujolais style, offering depth and character.
“A 20-hectare Beaujolais estate in the Pierres Dorées, crafting whole-bunch Gamay wines with long macerations since 2007.”
