About the Winery

Trained in Burgundy, Frédéric Dorthe has been managing this 30-hectare family estate since 2000. The domain takes its name from the best Côtes-du-Rhône parcel in the vineyard. Located on the right bank of the Rhône in Saint-Marcel-d'Ardèche, the estate produces wines from Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre, fermented and aged in cement tanks with minimal intervention. The wines are known for their generosity, purity of fruit, and honest expression of the Southern Rhône terroir. Frédéric Dorthe's Burgundian training brings a refined touch to the region's traditional winemaking.
