Marc Bijotat
Charly-sur-Marne, Champagne, France
About the Winery
The Bijotat family has passed down this property through generations: Paul, Maurice, Marc, and now Alexandre and Vanessa. The estate covers nearly 13 hectares between Charly and Château-Thierry in the Marne Valley, about 80 km from Paris. The family produces Champagne from the classic trio of varieties: Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay, grown on the valley's characteristic clay-limestone soils. Their Champagnes reflect the family tradition and the unique terroir of the Marne Valley, which is known for producing wines with excellent freshness and fruit character.
“A family Champagne estate of 13 hectares in the Marne Valley, passed down through five generations.”
