Château Cap de Faugères

Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux, Bordeaux, France

About the Winery

Swiss businessman Silvio Denz purchased this Castillon-Côtes-de-Bordeaux estate from the Guisez family in 2005, simultaneously with Château Faugères in Saint-Émilion. He made significant investments in the property, which now encompasses 46 hectares. The estate features a remarkable winery designed by architects Jean de Gastines and Patrick Dillon. The wines are crafted primarily from Merlot with Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, expressing the limestone and clay soils of the Castillon plateau. Under Denz's ownership, the estate has become known for producing wines of exceptional quality and value.

A 46-hectare Castillon estate owned by Silvio Denz since 2005, featuring an architecturally remarkable winery.
